Since 1995, TimkenSteel de Mexico has been a trusted source in Mexico for developing new ways to make industrial supply chains more efficient – either through direct purchases from TimkenSteel plants or via distributors purchasing from our warehouse in Mexico.
As the Mexican market has transitioned from an oil-and-gas focus in the 1990s to the industrial/automotive concentration it has today, we’ve adapted to new conditions and challenges to ensure we offer convenient access to high-quality, in-demand products.
Our warehouse operates primarily as a master distributor, providing support to a selected group of local suppliers. Working together with these local partners, we facilitate the development of customized inventory programs for all volume sizes.
We continue to invest in our Mexican operations to ensure our customers always have the access they need to some of the world’s cleanest, highest-quality steels.
Our Facilities
With a 3,500 square-meter warehouse located at Parque Industrial La Puerta 3, TimkenSteel de Mexico has all the necessary infrastructure to develop inventory programs that meet our customers’ needs. This facility handles all commercial operations for Latin America and remains focused on excellence in customer service.

HOT ROLLED BAR
Hot-rolled surface conditions include as-rolled or thermal-treated finishes such as annealed, normalized or quenched-and-tempered. These processes leave a light mill oxide on the surface. We inspect and surface-condition our hot-rolled steel bars, and many customers further process the material through forging or machining.

TimkenSteel customers can easily purchase drilled 4145M material to meet tight deadlines and critical product specifications. We combine comprehensive steel, heat-treat and machining solutions with TimkenSteel clean custom-alloy steel products.

TimkenSteel produces some of the world’s highest-quality seamless mechanical tubing, with excellence and consistency in chemistry, mechanical properties and dimensions. We offer annealed, normalized and quenched-and-tempered heat treatments.
