MATHEW W. HAPPACH

Vice President – Rail

Mathew W. Happach is vice president – rail for The Timken Corporation’s Industrial Business unit. Mr. Happach started his career with the company in 1987 as a sales engineer – original equipment in Canton. In 1988, he was named sales engineer – original equipment in the company’s Dallas sales office. He moved to Chicago in 1993 where he held positions of sales engineer – general industrial, district manager – general industrial and district manager – industrial original equipment. In 1999, Mr. Happach was named director – sales and marketing – Timken India Limited in Jamshedpur, India, and, in 2002, he returned to Canton as global manager – marketing and business planning in the Industrial Business unit. Mr. Happach was named to his current position in 2003.
Mr. Happach received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bradley University and master’s degree in business administration from DePaul University.
