The Corporate Technology Contracts Office, located in the Advanced Technology Center, makes Torrington technical resources available to both commercial and government customers. Contract R&D and collaborative efforts focus on accelerating advanced research into high technology product and process areas consistent with Torrington's capabilities and business objectives. This office organizes and manages the marketing, preparation of proposals, administration and the internal systems required to satisfy each customer's needs.
Our project management experience is evident in the success of many varied and highly technical projects that have been completed or are in process. These projects include: full and hybrid ceramic bearings, quiet bearings, fracture-tough materials and advanced machine and manufacturing process developments. Customers include: other corporations, collaborative organizations, government prime contractors, as well as government defense and non-defense agencies and laboratories.
