Precision, reliability and repeatability are the name of the game when supplying products for highly engineered industrial machinery. From open-wheel racecars to textile machinery, we’re supplying our markets with highly engineered bearings and next-level assemblies.
Our bearings can be found in textile machinery, machine tool encoders, robotics, flow meters, seaming and can welding, and other applications where system performance cannot be compromised.
On the automotive side we’ve pioneered the development of integral ball bearing design for turbo chargers operating at 90,000 rpms and over 700ºF, propelling many CART (Championship Auto Racing Teams) drivers to the finish line. In addition, we’ve developed actuator bearings and shaft assemblies for an active manifold that regulates air intake into a car engine based on a signal from the engine’s computer.
Other precision industrial applications include bearing assemblies used in coal-fired electric generating plants. The over-fire air-port drive assemblies operate in adverse conditions with temperatures over 750° F. The assemblies survive the heat and ash and are used to control the amount of oxygen in the boiler in order to control the level of
NOx
emissions.
