This
department consists of graduate engineers, designers and technicians
who are specialists in freight, passenger and locomotive bearing
applications. The Customer Engineering staff designs existing and
new product lines into customer applications, and provides technical
support to our marketing and service personnel. Efforts to generate
new and improved bearing products are ongoing and are necessary
to maintain market leadership by improving operating performance
and lowering costs for our customers. New bearing concepts can typically
be applied to both existing and new generation rail equipment.
