Quality in Manufacturing

Timken product databases provide the information that drives manufacturing systems and processes in our facilities around the world. In this way, our plants can access the same specifications for any given product. And, the plants’ performance is measured against those specifications. 

All of the manufacturing machinery also must meet our Capability Policy for quality and consistency. Even new equipment is tested and modified to meet our specifications. Sometimes we conduct this testing on the plant floor. Other times, we bring the equipment to one of our research facilities for more extensive modification.
