Timken has vast research and development operations. We invest nearly $77.5 million annually in this function to ensure that we are anticipating and exceeding customer expectations. Skilled engineers and scientists at our research facilities in France, India, Romania and the U.S. give Timken the design capabilities to develop new products and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our processes.  

Ensuring worldwide quality begins with design control. All part dimensions and revisions are maintained in our centralized Finished Product Database. Likewise, our tolerance structure and technical enhancements are documented in our Product Tolerance and Standards Database.
